Anita Singleton Prather

A native of the Sea Islands in Beaufort, S.C., Ms. Singleton Prather is the founder and artistic director of the Gullah Kinfolk Traveling Theater. As a storyteller and singer, she has authored four plays for the traveling group, along with the accompanying music.
